Join us at the Van Buren County Library on March 13, 2023 from 4:00-6:00 for a reception and talk with Carol Corning as she exhibits art works inspired by her mothers’ kitchen.
Ms. Corning was born in 1955 in Van Buren County, in Clinton, Arkansas. She was one of eight children who grew up on a 150 acre farm in a large family. Her art works will be exhibited through the end of March.
Carol's collages are an assemblage of found objects combined with painted or sewn elements intended to stir a memory and create an emotional response in the viewer.
