Arkansas Craft Guild & Gallery

104 E. Main Street

Mountain View, AR 72560

The Arkansas Craft Guild & Gallery is where you will find heirloom quality arts and crafts, handmade by members of the Arkansas Craft Guild, a cooperative since 1962.
Located just a half block east of the Square in historic downtown Mountain View, our newly renovated stone building has a handicapped access with parking in the rear, just ring the bell for entry. This former post office, drug store, and other incarnations is spacious, light and airy. You'll enjoy your shopping experience.

The Gallery houses a large collection of arts and crafts by over one hundred Arkansas artists. Pottery, wood carvings, turned wooden bowls, flutes, vases, pens, cutting boards, puzzles, jewelry, paintings and prints, photography, stained and fused glass, home decor such as photographic pillows and table runners, soaps and lotions, candles, knives, carved and painted gourd art, jams, honey products, purses, felted wool wearables, toys, and quilts - all make unique gifts, including Christmas and other seasonal ornaments.

The home office of the Arkansas Craft Guild is also located here, and we're proud of our long history of craft marketing and learning, having begun as the Ozark Foothills Handicrafts Guild headquartered from Mountain View, which evolved into a state-wide cooperative about 1990. We moved to our current location in 2000. The large building at 104 E. Main has been renovated, including a new roof in 2024.

Volunteer Artists

Guild member artists work the sales register on weekends, sometimes bringing tools and samples of their work. They don't demonstrate every time, as it depends on which craft they do. About a dozen artists volunteer once a month, with the schedule published on the calendar. For their time spent they receive a larger percentage of the consignment rate on their work.
