Artisans Market on the Square during Bean Fest Oct 23-24, 2026 features arts and crafts from Arkansas Craft Guild members and approved guests on the grass north of the Courthouse next to Mountain View Music. Hours are Friday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Dana Finimore, Rare Birds Art Studio, is a local artist who makes her own jewelry, pottery, and operates a teaching studio. She taught art at the college level in Mississippi and owned her own gallery. She occupies booth #1 by the entrance to the Market grounds behind the picket fence.

Tom and Sage Holland, Glass Beadmakers, make bead jewelry and sculptural pieces that defy belief, using the techniques of master glass workers from ancient times. These pieces below illustrate what they call the "Family Cane," the unique colors and patterns created through multiple manipulations, from which they can become different jewelry pieces.

Cindy Kopack’s Whippoorwill Mountain Jewelry offers such a wide variety of sterling and copper metalsmithing with beautiful stones. Cindy is a regular at Artisans Market the last several years ever since becoming a member of the Guild. She also is a teacher, including a studio at Ozark, though a resident of Mountain View. She volunteers in the Gallery once a month.

Marie Busch, Ozark Pantry returns with her uniquely named jams, jellies, mustards, and dipping sauces, like Toe Jam.

A regular at the Market is Oddbowlz Ceramics’s Greg Hall whose functional pottery includes bowls, mugs and soup bowls in several glazes. Greg is from Huntsville.

Mike Mowery, MTM Woodworking, brings his turned wooden kitchenware, cutting boards, and board games using colorful combinations of  native woods.

Returning are Norma and Martie Matthews, NM Quilts and Embroidery, whose booth includes Martie’s useful and decorative wooden wares. They both continue to broaden their shopping selections.

Two other favorite woodworkers are returning, Paula Wooley, Buttercup Creations with her charcuterie boards, and Jay Petty with his unusual turned live edge vases and bowls.

A new member James Turner, Turner Specialty Products, brings his wooden wares to the Market for the second time this year. He specializes in Shaker round boxes, but also make these tight fitting hardwood ones.

Nature's Touch, Mitszey Kirby, brings two different crafts to her booth for the first time, wire wrapped stone jewelry, and laser etchings from her photographs.

Work by members can also be purchased at the Arkansas Craft Guild & Gallery, 104 E. Main, just a half block East of the Square in Mountain View, sponsor of the Market. For applications and photos of previous Markets, visit this page. Live videos may be viewed on Instagram.com/arkansascraftguild.

The Arkansas Craft Guild & Gallery began as a member cooperative in 1962 and is located at 104 E Main, just a half block east of the Square in Mountain View. The Gallery is open year-round Tuesday through Saturday from 10 to 5. Not strictly crafters, but painters, photographers, and other 2D artists are included. Huge selections of wood, glass, jewelry, pottery, fiber, soaps, may be found, a treat for the eyes and the imagination. Toys and children’s furniture, food items, brooms and Christmas decorations are also available, great gift ideas for anyone on a shopping list.

Meet artists in the Gallery on weekends as several members volunteer once a month. Calendars each month can be viewed on the Gallery tab. Our website’s artist roster includes biographies and photos of all the current members, whether they have work in the Gallery or participate in our 3 annual arts and crafts shows.  The Guild & Gallery is active on social media including Facebook, Instagram, and on YouTube.
