Richard Zimmer, Zimmer Woodworking, Beebe, is a new member of the Arkansas Craft Guild, juried while at the 45th Annual Christmas Showcase in Little Rock, Dec. 1-3, 2023.
"I am self taught and have been creative my whole life. I have always loved working with wood. I’ve spent hours researching, learning and testing building methods and which tools are the best to use. I have worked for 15 years building cabinets in private corporate jets. As an artist I work hard to develop wood items that speak both to me and to others and that bring out the beauty of the wood. My intention is to create items that allow Nature's beauty to be seen, used and enjoyed." Richard plans to bring his wood products to the Arkansas Craft Gallery in the future, and has his work in three other retail stores.
