Ms Linda, as she is known by students, has been designing and creating fiber and fabric items since age 4. Her journey began in finding joy from a treadle machine making flour sack towels and continued through using the latest computerized equipment. She also taught costume design at the University of Arkansas during graduate school.
Linda’s desire is to preserve and promote the fiber arts of the Ozarks for generations to come. She loves to incorporate both hand crocheted and embroidered items into new functional designs for book covers, protection covers for iPads and e-Reader sleeves. Designing Christmas ornaments and other home decor pieces using rug hooking techniques is another interest. Back Porch Reflections is how she markets her work.
