Leon Hoffman writes: My father turned wood for twenty years making biscuit cutters and rolling pins as well as beautiful lamps. I worked for 5 years in Clinton, AR at a furniture shop where I learned a great deal about wood and woodworking, where I turned the legs for several hundred tables. In 1990 I thought how I could be making useful food related items instead of table legs and found these items were quite popular with people. I began to develop a product line of things I had always admired, traditional tools and toys with different shapes that could be turned from our beautiful Ozark hardwoods such as tops and ball and cup games. I invented a popular firing pin rubber band gun and developed my back and foot massagers.
